Judging by the Numbers: Judicial Seats on State Courts of Last Resort
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation on May 18, 2016, that will allow him to name two new justices to the Arizona Supreme Court, bringing the number of justices on the court to seven, up from the current five-member panel. Ducey will select two justices from among a list of screened applicants to be nominated by a special judicial nominating commission.
