U.S.Ambassador Craft Addresses CSG Meeting
CSG members had the privilege of hearing from U.S. Ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft during the 2018 National Conference in Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati on Dec. 6.
Ambassador Craft and other speakers looked at the current relations between the U.S.A. and Canada, including the negotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, and subnational relations involving American states and Canadian provinces.
Craft presented her credentials as the United States Ambassador to Canada on Oct. 23, 2017. She serves as the president’s personal representative to the government and people of Canada, including leading the U.S. mission to Canada and the embassy in Ottawa and the seven consulates. Craft is a leader, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a third generation Kentuckian who has made community service and improving education a cornerstone of her career.
