Van Lare is an independent consultant and a senior adviser to the National Governors Association’s Office of Management Consulting and Training that assists governors and their staffs in the leadership and management of state government and the organization and operation of the governor’s office. Van Lare has more than 45 years of experience in managing federal, state and local agencies and in developing and implementing national health and human services programs.
