CSG Staff Discuss Prescription Drug Compact with Alliance Board
Crady deGolian, Senior Policy Analyst with CSG's National Center for Interstate Compacts (NCIC), spent time yesterday discussing the details of the newly drafted Prescription Monitoring Program Compact with the Executive Board of the Alliance of States with Prescription Monitoring Programs. During the call board members asked questions about compacts in general and the specifics of the Prescription Monitoring Program Compact.
The call was another in a series of presentations and meetings that CSG staff is conducting to introduce NCIC's latest compact effort. In addition to yesterday's call, Crady deGolian and Rick Masters recently testified about the compact on Capitol Hill before the Congressional Caucus on Prescription Drug Abuse. Also, a half day legislative briefing to discuss the compact is planned for December 6 in conjunction with CSG's Annual Meeting in Providence, RI.
