Coming Soon - CSG Webinar on Smart Grid Cyber Security Threats

Please join CSG for an upcoming on webinar on addressing cyber security threats in the Smart Grid. The webinar is schedule for April 26th at 2 PM Eastern and will feature policy experts from the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) that will share how the utility industry is preparing to meet current and future cyber threats.

Today’s electricity transmission grid is increasingly modernizing with new information technology and computing capability. These breakthroughs offer significant promise for utilities to more effectively and efficiently manage power flows on the grid, thereby improving reliability and providing environmental benefits that will help reduce air emissions. The new Smart Grid, however, also could increase cyber security threats as many of the system’s components rely on microprocessing devices that are largely controlled by software programming.

During the session on April 26, we will hear from EEI's policy experts:

  • Chris Eisenbrey - Director of Business Information and Co-lead of their Smart Grid Team
  • Scott Aaronson - Director of Government Relations
